## Description

Cotswold Edge Scout District is a vibrant and community-focused organization serving the towns and villages of South Gloucestershire, including Thornbury. With a mission to empower young people, the district comprises 17 Scout Groups and various Explorer Scout Units, catering to ages 4 to 25. The programs offered include Mafeking Explorers for teens aged 14 to 18, who engage in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and Ten Tors events, fostering adventure and skill development. Young Leaders support adult leaders in guiding activities, and opportunities abound for volunteering, enhancing personal growth and teamwork skills.

Safety and well-being are paramount at Cotswold Edge, where a dedicated safeguarding policy ensures a secure environment for all participants. With activities ranging from outdoor exploration to leadership training, Cotswold Edge Scout District not only nurtures young leaders but also enriches the community through its commitment to scouting values. Join us to experience personal growth while making a difference in the lives of others.
