## Description

The Czech Slackline Association is a registered nonprofit association that brings together slackline enthusiasts and represents their interests in the Czech Republic. Established in 2010 and officially registered on 4 March 2011, it describes itself as probably the world’s oldest organization dedicated to slackline enthusiasts. Its aim is to develop the sport and make it accessible to the wider public. The association also works with government and nature-protection authorities on conditions for slacklining, including seeking exceptions for locations where activities may be restricted.

Slacklining involves walking, balancing or jumping on a flexible webbing strap. The sport combines recreation with focus, patience and physical control, and includes disciplines such as longline, trickline and highline. The association supports the community through news, informational articles and documents, as well as events and educational opportunities. Recent announcements include rigging certification and instructor training, alongside guidance on marking and reporting highlines for air safety. People can support its work by becoming members, helping strengthen its voice in discussions with other organizations and authorities.
