## Description

CESURA, the European Center for the Study of Aragonese Humanism and Renaissance, is a research and academic organization established in 2017. It promotes historical, archaeological, literary, philological, linguistic, and artistic research on Humanism and the Renaissance, with particular attention to the Aragonese period in the Kingdom of Naples. The Center brings together scholars from international academic institutions and encourages collaboration and the exchange of ideas. Its work grew from an international conference held in Potenza in 2014, followed by annual international seminars in Naples from 2015 and further conferences in Italy and Catalonia. Since 2019, CESURA has also operated as an international inter-university center, bringing together the universities of Basilicata, Orientale of Naples, Girona, Avignon, and Salento. Its activities include seminars, conferences, and other scholarly events, alongside CESURA-Rivista, its academic journal, and CESURA-Press. The journal is recognized as a Class A publication for Italian Areas 10 and 11 and is indexed in Scopus. Through research, publishing, and academic events, CESURA supports the study and dissemination of scholarship on the period.
