## Description

Healthcare Excellence Canada is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality and safety of healthcare across the country. Established in 2021 through the merger of the Canadian Patient Safety Institute and the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement, it serves as a vital partner in advancing healthcare innovations. The organization collaborates closely with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to implement effective strategies that improve care for older adults, facilitate safe transitions in healthcare, and support workforce retention. Healthcare Excellence Canada is committed to fostering inclusive healthcare practices and addressing the needs of diverse communities, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis populations. Its inaugural five-year strategy, informed by input from stakeholders nationwide, outlines a vision for equitable, high-quality healthcare. By facilitating connections and sharing best practices, Healthcare Excellence Canada aims to create lasting improvements in patient experience and health outcomes, ensuring that every Canadian receives the excellent care they deserve.
