The Canadian Fitness and Lifestyle Research Institute (CFLRI) is dedicated to monitoring physical activity and sport participation among Canadians and promoting the importance of leading a healthy and active lifestyle. As the sole organization in Canada focused on surveillance and monitoring in this area, the CFLRI provides credible data and collaborates with policy-makers, practitioners, and researchers to exchange knowledge and inform evidence-based policy and practice across the country. With over four decades of experience, the CFLRI has played a significant role in collecting and analyzing data on Canadians' activity levels, as well as how the spaces they inhabit support physical activity, sport, and recreation. The CFLRI aims to be even more impactful by forging stronger partnerships and assisting with research needs.
