## Description

**CityFolk Festival** is a dynamic celebration of dance, music, and community that takes place annually at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa. Formerly known as the Ottawa Folk Festival, this four-day event showcases a diverse range of musical performances across multiple stages, featuring artists from various genres. Highlights include the BSOMA KidZone, which hosts family-friendly shows, and the Aberdeen Pavilion, where craft vendors offer unique gifts and local craft beers.

The festival, rooted in community and cultural diversity, also incorporates **Marvest**, which presents over 70 free performances in the Glebe area, enhancing the local cultural landscape. With a commitment to eco-friendly initiatives, CityFolk aims to foster community engagement and stimulate economic activity in the region. Previous headliners have included celebrated acts like Lorde and Vance Joy, while the latest festival is set to feature an exciting lineup, with a focus on contemporary alt-country and indie folk artists. This year's festival runs from September 15-18, offering festival passes at competitive prices. Experience the magic of CityFolk, where music meets community!
