Chandler Gilbert Arc is a private, nonprofit organization based in Phoenix, Arizona that is committed to providing teaching and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With a rich history dating back to 1975, Chandler Gilbert Arc was initially founded as Chandler Arc by a group of parents who wanted to create life options for their adult children with disabilities. Today, the organization proudly serves over 500 individuals of all ages in the Phoenix East Valley Region. Chandler Gilbert Arc offers a range of specialized community-based employment, housing, and adult day support services to support the growth and independence of individuals with disabilities. As a licensed and funded organization primarily by the State of Arizona Department of Economic Security Division of Developmental Disabilities (DES/DDD), Chandler Gilbert Arc also partners with The Arc of Arizona and The Arc of the United States at the state and national level. In addition to government support, the organization receives funding from the State of Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration, private funders, and through donations and fundraising events.
