The Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus is an inclusive, community-based performing arts organization that aims to entertain, enlighten, inspire change, and build community. With their colorful performances that combine traditional choral music with musical theater, jazz, pop, and a unique gay aesthetic, they strive to delight audiences and explore issues relevant to LGBT people and their allies. By enlivening Chicago’s cultural landscape, they create a better community for all.

Led by Artistic Director Jimmy Morehead, the chorus boasts over 150 singing members supported by a dedicated group of volunteers. They tirelessly work to deliver a distinctive brand of entertainment that keeps audiences returning. In addition to numerous performances, the chorus also engages in fundraising activities and charitable appearances.
