## Description

The Battle of the Badges Baseball Classic is an annual charity event founded in 2011, showcasing a spirited competition between local police officers and firefighters to benefit Dartmouth Health Children’s Hospital (CHaD). Taking place at Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire, this exciting rivalry not only fosters community spirit but also significantly supports pediatric care and programs. Over the years, the event has evolved into a cornerstone of local fundraising efforts, raising over $112,000 in 2021 alone after the 2020 event was canceled due to COVID-19.

The classic serves as an extension of the CHaD Battle of the Badges franchise, which also includes a police versus fire hockey game held each April. Participants are dedicated first responders, each contributing to the hospital’s mission of providing exceptional medical care and family support. With numerous champions and top fundraisers recognized each year, the Battle of the Badges Baseball Classic continues to unite and inspire the local community through friendly competition for a noble cause.
