## Description

CTGP Revolution is an unofficial modification for Mario Kart Wii, developed by MrBean35000vr and Chadderz with contributions from track authors, translators, and testers. It expands the game with more than 150 custom tracks and over 60 retro tracks from earlier games, letting players race on new and remade courses offline or online. Online play is supported through Wiimmfi, even after Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection was discontinued, and the mod works on both Wii and Wii U in vWii mode.

The project adds features such as Countdown and Item Rain modes, a 200cc engine class with brake drifting, online time-trial leaderboards for every track, customizable cup layouts, and a “My Stuff” system for using additional modifications. It also includes a Wii Channel interface, automatic updates, and support for nine languages, including Japanese. CTGP-R has been updated continuously since version 1.03 launched in January 2014. Its website offers downloads, installation guidance, media, leaderboards, online status information, and updates, as well as resources about Mario Kart Wii modding and custom-track creation.
