## Description

Shitim Institute is dedicated to creating a Jewish-Zionist-Humanist identity and culture through a focus on Jewish holidays and life cycle events. The institute's archive, 'The Holidays Archive,' houses over a million items, including holiday rituals, philosophical excerpts, images, and films related to Shitim Institute and the Kibbutz Holidays House. The diverse educational programs offered by Shitim Institute aim to strengthen connections to Jewish culture and heritage while promoting innovative thinking. The institute's team of experts in Jewish culture, education, and communal partnerships lead workshops, lectures, seminars, online courses, and provide access to the archive. With a rich history dating back to its founding in the 1950s by Arieh Ben Gurion, Shitim Institute continues to be a cornerstone for exploring Israeli culture, Zionism, and Jewish identity through the lens of holidays and progressive thought.
