## Description

Chakula is a fully vegan foodtruck and catering brand serving Munich, Landshut and other locations across Bavaria. Operating since 2008, it describes itself as likely Germany’s first entirely vegan food trailer and brings Levantine-inspired fusion street food to festivals, markets, fairs and private or corporate events. Its offerings include dishes such as pulled-style sandwiches, chickpea curry, falafel, hummus bowls, gyros-style pita and wraps, alongside salads and homemade lemonade. Menus can be adapted to guests’ preferences, and all food is prepared vegan, without contact with animal products.

With more than 15 years of experience and over 200 event appearances, Chakula caters for gatherings ranging from around 40 guests to large festivals. The business also visits regular food spots and takes bookings for events. Sustainability is central to its operations: it says its event travel has been climate-neutral since 2012 using a biogas vehicle, and it has generated its own operating electricity since August 2024. Local and seasonal ingredients are also part of its approach.
