## Description

Tonzu is a family-owned New Zealand food brand from Chalmers Organics Ltd, based in West Auckland. Its story began in 1979, when the Chalmers family started making food in a home kitchen while exploring the potential of food to support healing. Three generations later, the family’s belief in certified organic wholefoods continues to shape the business and its vision for a healthier, more sustainable future.

Tonzu offers a range of plant-based foods, including tofu, marinated tofu, tempeh, plant-based sausages and plant-based patties. The products provide options for people seeking versatile, plant-based ingredients and meal choices. The brand’s website also features recipes to help customers explore ways to prepare its products, along with frequently asked questions and information about the family’s story. Rooted in a long-standing family tradition, Tonzu brings together organic wholefood principles and convenient plant-based products for everyday cooking.
