## Description

Champagne Selskabet is a champagne specialist established in 2012 by Jon Plougmann, bringing selected champagnes from small producers in the Champagne region to Copenhagen through its own micro-import operation. Its range includes producers from villages such as Aÿ, Avize, Bouzy, Cumières, Hermonville, Verzenay and Montgueux. The selection features names including André Roger, Champagne Gatinois, Corbon, R. Faivre, Florence Duchêne, Minière F&R, Jacques Busin, Tange-Gérard and Hélène Beaugrand. Among its distinctive offerings is Beaugrand’s Éclat de Soleil, made from 100% Meunier.

Customers can also join Champagne Selskabet’s monthly subscription for 340 Danish kroner, including taxes and home delivery. Each month brings a different bottle selected by the company; it may come from the regular range or be specially imported for subscribers. A tasting note accompanies each bottle, covering its story, origin, flavour and suggested food or occasion pairings. Subscribers receive 10% off the regular selection, special offers, access to selected champagnes, updates on new arrivals and invitations to tastings. The subscription can be cancelled with one month’s notice.
