## Description

**Charest Family on the Web**

Charest Family on the Web is a dynamic online platform created by Ron Charest, dedicated to showcasing personal writings, photography, and family history. Launched in 2004, this evolving site has undergone several technology iterations, transitioning from initial open-source content management systems to a robust WordPress setup, ensuring better security and a user-friendly experience for visitors.

The website features an array of content, including blog posts on various topics, photo collections from family adventures, and insights into Genealogy through a dedicated companion site built on The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding (TNG). Ron’s passion for writing and photography shines through as he shares not only his own works but also those of his family members. Additionally, Charest Family on the Web serves as a hub for Ron's ongoing freelance projects in logistics and technical writing, reflecting his commitment to sharing knowledge while preserving family legacies. This personal venture illustrates his journey through family narratives, photography, and digital content creation.
