ChargemasterDB is a database of U.S. hospital prices created by Joseph Paul Cohen. It uses hospital chargemaster files made available under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ hospital price transparency rule, 45 CFR §180, to help people explore and compare charges for medical services across the country. Visitors can search by medical code or procedure description, or look up information by hospital.
