Its hardware physically stops and restarts charging according to settings in a companion app, helping users avoid keeping a battery at full charge for extended periods. Users can set a charge limit and restart gap, schedule overnight charging, and, on supported platforms, choose a temperature cutoff or automate connections at home, work or in a car. Chargie offers three main models: a USB-A version for everyday phone charging up to 10W; a USB-C version for low-power phone charging up to 10W; and a USB-C Power Delivery model for compatible laptops, supporting up to 100W.
