## Description

Charis Hills is a 501(c)(3) Christian organization and therapeutic recreational camp in Sunset, Texas, built around a welcoming message of grace, acceptance, and belonging. It serves children and teens ages 7–18 with learning and social differences, including ADHD and high-functioning autism, as well as young adults and families. Through a Christ-centered approach, the camp combines recreation with structured support to help participants develop social skills, confidence, friendships, and a stronger sense of their own abilities.

Summer programming includes seven week-long sessions for children and teens, with activities such as swimming, kayaking, archery, and arts and crafts. Individualized care is supported by a 1:3 counselor-to-camper ratio; young adult camps use a 1:5 ratio. Charis Hills also offers weekend programs for young adults and families, designed to encourage connection and create shared experiences.

Beyond camps, the organization rents its North Texas facilities for weddings, church and school groups, retreats, and other events.
