## Description

CHARITY is an innovative project designed to enhance the orchestration of cloud, edge, and network resources, aiming to create a synergistic environment that caters to the nuances of both low and high latency infrastructures. This initiative focuses on autonomously managing hybrid edge/cloud systems, supporting advanced media solutions, and providing comprehensive application lifecycle management.

CHARITY is at the forefront of developing highly interactive and collaborative applications, with a focus on emerging technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and holographic applications. Notable use cases include holographic concerts, medical training simulations, virtual tour creators, and collaborative gaming experiences.

With a robust consortium comprising 15 partners from 10 countries—including industry leaders, academic institutions, and SMEs—the project harnesses a broad spectrum of expertise to achieve its ambitious goals. Funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 program, CHARITY aims to push the boundaries of XR technology while ensuring project visibility and sustainability through ongoing outreach efforts and community engagement activities.
