## Description

Which Charities Near You is a Canadian resource that helps people find registered charities interested in receiving donated items. Its listings are organized by province, city and donation category, making it easier to connect suitable goods with local organizations. Visitors can search for charities seeking food, clothing, furniture, appliances, books, electronics, toys, baby items, musical instruments, sports equipment, vehicles, pet supplies, and home, office or school supplies. Listings include website links and contact information so donors can contact a charity directly to arrange drop-off or pickup. The site advises checking each charity’s own website because hours and services may vary.

The directory covers communities across Canada and aims to expand nationwide. It also invites Canadian registered charities to request a free listing, with entries cross-checked against Canada Revenue Agency charity listings. In addition to donation directories, the site features a calendar of charity fundraising events, including online and in-person activities, and publishes related blog content.
