## Description

Charleston Carriage Horse Advocates is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the welfare of carriage horses in Charleston. Our mission is to educate the public about the challenges faced by these animals and promote more humane treatment.

Since 2000, we have worked tirelessly to advocate for better working and living conditions for the horses and mules that endure extreme temperatures while pulling heavy loads. We actively engage with the community through a robust social media presence, a monthly newsletter, and banners displayed by residents who support the cause. We also organize peaceful walks, communicate with elected officials, distribute leaflets in the Market area, and participate in festivals to raise awareness about the plight of these voiceless animals.

Charleston Carriage Horse Advocates is a registered nonprofit, and donations to our organization are tax deductible. Join us in our mission to protect and improve the lives of the carriage horses in Charleston.
