# Charlie Foundation - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `charliefoundation.org` - **Employees:** 11+ - **Location:** Santa Monica, California, United States ## Description The Charlie Foundation is a brand that focuses on the Ketogenic Diet, also known as Keto, which is a way of eating that mimics the effects of fasting. By consuming a diet rich in quality fats, adequate protein, and low net carbohydrates, the body's metabolism starts to utilize fat as its primary source of fuel. This process, known as ketosis, produces ketones that serve as alternate energy sources for both the brain and body. The Ketogenic Diet has been studied extensively and has shown therapeutic benefits for various diseases, particularly epilepsy. It has also shown promise in treating other illnesses with an underlying metabolic element. The Charlie Foundation advises medical supervision for all ketogenic therapies. In addition to providing information about the Ketogenic Diet, the Charlie Foundation offers resources such as a database of hospitals specializing in ketogenic therapies and a list of independent Ketogenic Professionals for consultation. The brand aims to support individuals in achieving a state of ketosis, which can have many benefits, including treating chronic illnesses and optimizing mental and physical performance. Through their work, the Charlie Foundation aims to enhance overall well-being by fortifying the body's ability to handle modern-day stressors. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Nutrition Diets and Fitness _(under Health)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/CharlieFndation) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/user/charliefoundation) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/charliefoundation) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/the-charlie-foundation) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/TheCharlieFoundation) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idaUS6zK3T/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1789443351390) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Hippie Blue | #5885af | accent | | Deep Sapphire | #08356c | dark | | Cashmere | #e7b89b | light | ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idaUS6zK3T/w/1500/h/500/iddbfiQSFP.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1789443351584) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
