## Description

Charlotte Puiseux is a French philosopher and researcher whose work explores disability, feminism, gender, and marginalized sexualities. She holds a doctorate in philosophy and is a member of the handifeminist collective Les Dévalideuses and the Handiparentalité association. Drawing on Disability Studies and queer theory, Puiseux develops crip theory in France and examines how social structures shape experiences of disability. Her perspective also reflects her activism, which connects disability rights with anticapitalist, intersectional feminist, and pro-sex approaches.

The site introduces her background, research interests, and publications. Its featured product is the Petit dictionnaire du Crip, a concise dictionary that uses key concepts and notable figures to introduce a relatively little-known field in France. Puiseux’s books also include De chair et de fer, vivre et lutter dans une société validiste, published by La Découverte. Formerly a psychologist, she has since focused on research. Visitors can find information about her academic journey, explore the dictionary, and contact her through the website.
