## Description

The Charter Cities Institute is a nonprofit organization committed to tackling our most pressing challenges by building the ecosystem for charter cities. These charter cities are granted special jurisdiction to create new governance systems, and the institute is dedicated to empowering them to lift millions of people out of poverty. To achieve their mission, the Charter Cities Institute focuses on several key areas. They conduct research and provide technical assistance to guide new city developers and governments in implementing charter cities. They also foster partnerships and host events, bringing together stakeholders from around the world to collaborate on improving governance. Additionally, they produce content through their blog, videos, and podcast to raise awareness about charter cities and offer real-time insights into governance experiments and developmental case studies. Founded in 2017, the institute plays a crucial role in coordinating efforts and accelerating the development of charter cities. Their dedicated team of experts spans various fields, working towards the common goal of creating better governance systems and building a prosperous future for these new cities.
