## Description

Chasing Tail Run is a Salt Lake City event that combines recreational running, dogs, and craft beer in a lively, community-focused gathering. Organized in partnership with Squatters Beers, the event offers two ways to participate: a four-mile road race for runners and a shorter 1.5-mile Doggie Dash for people running with their dogs. Both routes begin and finish at Squatters Brew Pub in downtown Salt Lake City, with the longer course passing through downtown, the Avenues, and Memory Grove Park. The Doggie Dash also supports Salt Lake County Animal Services through partial proceeds.

Registration has included chip timing, a personalized race bib, a technical shirt, and a first beer or other beverage, with a dog toy for canine participants. After the races, attendees can enjoy a family- and dog-friendly beer garden, food, games, and a Squatters stein-holding contest. The event presents running as an accessible social experience, welcoming participants, friends, and family to celebrate together. The information provided describes its September 21, 2019 edition.
