## Description

Checkers Library TV is a dynamic brand dedicated to promoting literacy and a love for reading among children in libraries across America. Founded in early 2020 by Joey Hamilton, this innovative platform combines educational content with engaging characters, including Checkers the Inventor, Dr. Dan, Snoozer, and Zot the Robot. The brand offers a variety of resources, including videos, activity sheets, and crafts, all designed to inspire creativity and curiosity in young readers.

Checkers Library TV emerged from the founders' rich backgrounds in entertainment and entrepreneurship, evolving from a popular comedy duo to a pioneering educational initiative. The brand's signature program, The Reading Road Trip - Full STEAM Ahead, collaborates with forward-thinking librarians to address the challenges faced in traditional library engagement. Through dialogue with library leaders, Checkers Library TV continually develops strategies that aim to nurture innovation and adapt to the changing landscape of education, ensuring that children and families remain connected to their local libraries.
