## Description

Cheeky Checkmarks is a family routine app created by Keith, a stay-at-home dad of twins, to help children take charge of everyday tasks and give parents fewer reminders to repeat. Its playful checklists add humor and spoken reactions to routines such as putting away shoes, clearing a plate, or packing a backpack. The jokes target everyday household chaos, never a child’s appearance, abilities, or feelings, with the aim of making routine tasks more encouraging and fun.

Parents plan routines on a phone, then can pair a family tablet as a shared display where children can see and complete their checklists. Families can personalize the tablet with themes and characters, and optional reminders can provide nudges when the display is open, online, and sound-enabled. A one-device option and support for a child’s phone are also described.

Website demos, including talking checkmarks and a sample family routine, are available without an account or payment. The app is coming to the App Store and Google Play; public downloads are not yet available.
