## Description

**Brand Description: Chenille Risque**

Chenille Risque is a dedicated platform focused on raising awareness about processionary caterpillars, which are known for their urticating hairs that can pose health risks to humans and domestic animals. Launched as part of a national effort, the platform offers a user-friendly tool for reporting sightings and symptoms associated with these caterpillars, promoting environmental stewardship while prioritizing public health.

With nearly 600 observations reported since its inception in February 2025, Chenille Risque serves as a crucial resource for local authorities to assess risks and take appropriate action without aiming for the species' eradication. The platform not only assists in identifying processionary caterpillars but also provides essential information about their habitats, life cycle, and the potential health implications of encounters.

Through its comprehensive educational tools and resources, Chenille Risque strives to inform the public on managing and navigating the challenges posed by processionary caterpillars while fostering a collaborative approach to ecological preservation and public safety.
