## Description

Cher Dames de Loire, also known as the Dragon Ladies of Tours, is a public-interest association based in Touraine, France. It enables people to take part in dragon boat paddling during or after cancer treatment and promotes the benefits of adapted physical activity as part of cancer care and recovery. The association highlights how dragon boating involves a full-body movement that can support muscle rebuilding, strengthen self-image and help participants face illness together through group activity. It also encourages connections among patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals beyond the medical setting.

Cher Dames de Loire organizes dragon boat activities and supports its paddling crews, while sharing information about sport and cancer, health-focused physical activity and the Dragon Ladies network. Its agenda features the association’s own events as well as partner activities in the region and elsewhere. The organization also publishes news about its crews, community gatherings, equipment and participation in wider Dragon Ladies events.
