## Description

CHERISH, meaning to cherish and care for children and loved ones, embodies a strong commitment to fostering community connections for families. Founded in 2012, CHERISH began as an initiative to address the needs of parents, launching various workshops and community events focused on child-rearing. In 2015, they opened the CHERISH Salon, a welcoming space for parents and children, which was transformed in 2016 into the CHERISH Café—a friendly environment for family lunches and educational classes.

In 2018, CHERISH expanded its reach with the launch of a parenting magazine, providing curated information for families in Akita. The establishment of the CHERISH Nursery in 2019 was a significant step in supporting working parents through a nurturing childcare environment. Most recently, in 2022, they introduced the CHERISH School, designed to enrich after-school activities for children. With an array of services including child care, educational classes, and community support, CHERISH truly enhances the experience of parenting.
