## Description

Cherry Studio is a free, open-source, cross-platform AI workspace developed by Shanghai Qianhui Technology Co., Ltd. Its desktop application runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, bringing AI conversations, autonomous agents, image generation, translation, and knowledge management together in one interface. Users can connect to more than 50 AI service providers and access over 300 models, including DeepSeek, Kimi, Qwen, and GLM, as well as deploy local models. The software also includes more than 300 preconfigured assistants for tasks such as writing, programming, learning, and marketing.

Cherry Studio supports conversations with text, documents, and images, and offers tools including model comparison, global search, topic management, Markdown rendering, and document previews. Users can build personal knowledge bases from local files or web pages, then ask AI questions based on that material. MCP server support and mini-programs extend the workspace with additional tools and services. The brand emphasizes local data storage and privacy, with WebDAV and other backup options for moving data between devices. Community Edition is free and licensed under AGPL-3.0.
