## Description

Cherry Studio is a cross-platform AI client developed by Shanghai Qianhui Technology Co., Ltd. Designed as an all-in-one AI workspace, it brings conversations, autonomous agents, image generation, translation, and knowledge management together in one desktop application. The community edition is free and open source under the AGPL-3.0 license, with versions for Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as a mobile edition.

The platform connects to more than 300 models through over 50 AI service providers, including DeepSeek, Kimi, Qwen, and GLM, and also supports locally deployed models. Users can compare models, work with text, images, and office documents, and build knowledge bases from local files or web pages. Built-in assistants cover tasks such as writing, programming, learning, and marketing, while agent capabilities and MCP server support extend how the software can use tools. Cherry Studio also offers themes, document features, and local or WebDAV backups. Conversations, settings, and knowledge-base files are stored on the user’s device. Enterprise licensing and technical support are available.
