## Description

The Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of art, music, history, and community at Middle Branch Park in Baltimore. Produced and managed by the Youth Resiliency Institute, an organization under the nonprofit Connection Thru Life Inc., the festival connects generations and honors Cherry Hill’s heritage through creative and educational experiences. Its 2026 celebration brings together four milestones: America’s 250th anniversary, 100 years of the movement that gave rise to Black History Month, 80 years since the dedication of Cherry Hill public housing, and the festival’s 10th anniversary. The program includes performances and truth-telling stages, family art workshops, waterfront activities, and a community archive featuring exhibitions and multimedia storytelling. A drone show is also planned. Following a severe thunderstorm, the 2026 anniversary celebration was rescheduled to August 29. The event reflects the resilience of Cherry Hill’s pioneering Black residents and promotes equitable access to culturally responsive arts and ecology programming for children, youth, and families. It is alcohol-free, with accessible parking available.
