# Chester Heritage - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `chesterheritage.ca` ## Description The Chester Municipal Heritage Society is a registered charity established in 1981 to promote and preserve the heritage of the Municipality of Chester. It works to protect historically significant properties and provide educational programs that help people enjoy and learn about local history, today and for future generations. The society highlights heritage sites including Lordly House and Chester Train Station, and shares online resources, historical photographs, stories, and community knowledge. Its collection offers glimpses of life across the region, from Chester’s historic harbour and Victoria Street’s Old Stone Bridge to rail travel, local businesses, transportation, and traditions in Chester Basin and New Ross. The society also keeps the community connected through news and events, volunteer opportunities, memberships, and a newsletter. Supporters can contribute through donations, helping sustain the organization’s heritage work. By combining property preservation, education, historical resources, and community involvement, the society encourages residents and visitors to discover the people, places, and events that have shaped Chester’s past. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/lordlyhousemuseum) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idmzsPBYwT/w/180/h/180/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793111332254) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idmzsPBYwT/w/287/h/287/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793111332433) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Citron | #91b31d | accent | | Sushi | #9ba739 | dark | | Spring Wood | #f9f7f2 | light | ## Fonts - libre-caslon-text — asset _(custom)_ - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
