## Description

Cheviot Learning Trust is a Northumberland-based education charity formed in 2023 through the merger of Tyne Community Learning Trust and Three Rivers Learning Trust. It brings together 18 schools serving more than 5,500 students aged two to 19, supported by over 750 staff and more than 150 governance volunteers. The Trust’s school family includes two high schools, five middle schools, ten first schools and the Three Rivers Teaching School Hub, which focuses on teacher development. Cheviot Learning Trust aims to provide excellent education and help students achieve their potential by enabling staff across its schools to collaborate through professional and innovative networks. Its work also includes educational leadership, governance and professional development, alongside initiatives addressing climate change and sustainability. The Trust welcomes schools from within and beyond Northumberland and shares information about its schools, activities, vacancies and developments through its website and news updates. By connecting schools and educators across the region, it seeks to strengthen teaching, support school communities and develop educational excellence for the young people it serves.
