The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) has been fighting for the human right to housing since 1980. As the only non-profit organization in Illinois dedicated to ending homelessness, CCH leads strategic campaigns, community outreach, and public policy initiatives to address the lack of affordable housing in metropolitan Chicago and across the state. They advocate for access to public schools, support services, and job opportunities for those affected by homelessness, including mothers with children, students, unaccompanied youth, returning citizens, and low-wage workers.

CCH does not accept government grants to preserve its independent voice. Instead, they advocate for funds to create housing, improve services, and support programs for homeless families, youths, and adults. Chicago Coalition for the Homeless is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible.
