## Description

Chickadee Catering is a full-service catering company founded by Heather Mumford and Kristin Kennedy in 2018. Based in Petersburgh, New York, the business serves events across the Berkshires, eastern New York, and southern Vermont, and may work beyond those areas. Its approach centers on fresh, wholesome food prepared from scratch, with ingredients sourced from local farmers and an effort to operate in an eco-friendly way. The menu includes vegan and vegetarian specialties, with gluten-free items available upon request.

Chickadee caters weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings, from private celebrations and birthday parties to business meetings and family events. Clients can choose service styles including cocktail receptions with hors d’oeuvres and handcrafted cocktails, buffets, plated dinners, and family-style meals. Beyond food, the company offers bakery services, bartending, waitstaff, and party planning, helping coordinate both the menu and event service. Chickadee works with clients to shape offerings around their needs and event vision, aiming to provide attentive service and a memorable culinary experience.
