## Description

Chickapig is a vibrant brand founded by Brian Calhoun, a luthier and game creator from Rockbridge County, Virginia. The brand emerged from Calhoun’s passion for creating engaging content for children and families, beginning with the popular board game Chickapig, launched in 2013. This game, inspired by Calhoun's experiences and love for storytelling, led to the creation of children's literature as well, starting with the book *Little Joe Chickapig*. The Chickapig universe continued to expand with the introduction of Chickapiglets, a game designed for younger players, and the accompanying storybook *Chickapiglet, Who Lives Where?* released in 2021.

Chickapig and its spin-off projects, including the poker-based game *25 Outlaws*, have garnered media attention and are celebrated for their farm-to-table fun and educational value. With a commitment to family-friendly entertainment, Chickapig offers not only games and books but also engaging activities that inspire creativity in children, making it a beloved brand in the world of children's entertainment.
