## Description

Chiemgauer100 is a trail-running event brand associated with the TSV Bergen Trailrunning organising team in the Chiemgau region of Germany. Its current event is the C100 StundenRundenLauf, a timed, social running challenge held at the outdoor swimming pool in Bergen, which serves as the start, finish and support area. The third edition is scheduled to run continuously for 24 hours, from 9 a.m. on October 17 to 9 a.m. on October 18, 2026. Inspired by the format of Backyard events, the run welcomes participants with different running capacities and emphasizes community and conversation alongside the challenge of completing laps. Distances of 100 kilometres and 100 miles are measured and recognised separately. The organisers note that this event is not a replacement for the former Chiemgauer100 ultra, whose future remains uncertain because of difficulties obtaining permits for long-distance events on open terrain. The website provides event news, information, registration details, participant resources, a photo gallery and an archive, and invites businesses to support the event.
