## Description

FFAC, or the Fédération Française des Associations de Chiens Guides d'Aveugles, is a prominent federation representing guide dog schools across France. With a mission to enhance the autonomy of visually impaired individuals, FFAC has been a vital support system for over 40 years, providing these individuals with trained guide dogs free of charge. Through the generous contributions of the public, FFAC has successfully facilitated the placement of more than 5,000 guide dogs, creating a profound impact on the lives of their handlers.

The federation is committed to a comprehensive approach, encompassing various services such as training programs for both dogs and instructors, community engagement, and resources for families looking to foster guide dogs. FFAC also focuses on raising awareness about visual impairments and the benefits of guide dogs through events and publications, promoting a deeper understanding of their role in enhancing mobility and independence. By uniting multiple stakeholder groups, FFAC fosters a culture of solidarity in supporting those with visual disabilities.
