## Description

Childline is a support service for children and young people, offering a safe, private space to talk about worries and seek advice. It aims to listen and provide support for any reason, at any time. Children can contact Childline free by phone on 1800 66 66 66 or use its online live chat, which is available around the clock every day. The website also provides guidance and resources on topics including emotions and mental health, friendships, family life, relationships and sexuality, bullying and abuse, school, body image, online safety, and disabilities. Its articles address everyday concerns and questions, from returning to school and managing exam pressure to staying safe and understanding identity. Young people can also write to the “Ask the team” service with questions about anything; Childline says it reads every letter and answers selected questions each week. The site introduces Childline as part of ISPCC and invites visitors to explore ways to get involved and support fundraising.
