## Description

The National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) of Sri Lanka is dedicated to safeguarding children from abuse and ensuring their rights are upheld. Established to develop and implement national policies for preventing child abuse, the NCPA offers a comprehensive range of services including institution monitoring, psychosocial support, legal assistance, and a dedicated 1929 call center helpline for immediate help.

The authority actively engages in research and development, planning, and information services to educate the public about child rights and abuse prevention. Through its Law Enforcement Services and specialized units, such as the Cyber Crime Division, the NCPA investigates cases of child abuse and supports affected children in reintegrating into society.

By collaborating with government bodies and organizations, the NCPA aims to create a protective environment for children, addressing both the humanitarian needs of those affected by armed conflict and the overall wellbeing of vulnerable youth. The organization invites the community to participate in its initiatives and seeks support to further its mission of protecting and uplifting children across Sri Lanka.
