## Description

Children at Heart provides training, consultancy and practical support for childminders and early years settings. Led by Rebecca, a registered childminder rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted four times, the service draws on more than 25 years of experience in the childcare sector. Rebecca is also an experienced early years trainer, a former Area Lead and Mentor in the 2023–24 DfE Childminder Mentor Programme, and a judge for the annual Nursery World Awards.

Children at Heart offers bespoke training and presentations for early years professionals, alongside a childminder pre-registration course designed to meet relevant childcare register training requirements. Specialist topics include safeguarding and child protection, the Early Years Foundation Stage, attachment, provision for under-threes, schemas, loose parts, outdoor play and enabling environments. Consultancy includes one-to-one support, advice and guidance for childminders and group settings. Rebecca delivers training for organisations, including her Local Authority, as well as developing and presenting her own courses.
