## Description

Children & Family Size is an early childhood education centre in Reggio Calabria, Italy, bringing together a nursery and a state-recognised preschool. It provides care and educational programmes for children from infancy through age five, with age-specific spaces and activities designed to support learning, socialisation, independence and development. The centre describes its approach as child-centred and play-based, helping children explore and build skills in a welcoming, safe environment.

Programmes include gardening, movement and sport, children’s yoga, educational outings, outdoor play, music and early English-language experiences. Facilities include more than 1,300 square metres of outdoor play space, alongside dedicated areas for rest, meals and activities. Children’s families are also part of the centre’s work: a pedagogical coordinator and socio-psychopedagogical team offer individual consultations, expert-led discussions and the Genitori Insieme parent-support programme. Through its educational services and family guidance, Children & Family Size aims to support children’s wellbeing while helping parents and caregivers navigate the early years.
