Children in Crisis Inc. Founded in 2002, the organization was established to address the critical need for foster care facilities in the four-county area of Northwest Florida. Their flagship project, The Children's Neighborhood, is a residential-style foster care neighborhood that provides a safe and supportive environment for abused and neglected children.

Over the years, Children in Crisis has grown from a small grassroots group to a community of over 100 members, including professionals from various fields and dedicated volunteers. The organization has already provided a loving home to over 1,000 children since 2008. In addition to the neighborhood, Children in Crisis also operates an Emergency Shelter, family foster homes, and an Opportunity Home for young adults transitioning out of foster care.
