## Description

Children’s Allergy Cambridge is a private paediatric allergy clinic serving children from birth to 18 across Cambridge and surrounding counties. Led by Dr Gary Stiefel, a Consultant in Paediatric Allergy at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust since 2012, the clinic provides specialist assessment and practical support for children and their families. Its services cover food allergies, including IgE-mediated and non-IgE-mediated reactions and FPIES; eczema; hives; hay fever and other allergic rhinitis; and pet allergies. Families can access skin prick testing and specific IgE blood tests, with specialist interpretation and clear guidance on what results mean. Care may include personalised management plans, advice on weaning and food reintroduction, eczema treatment guidance, allergy action plans, and support for school or nursery. The clinic also assesses suitability for aeroallergen immunotherapy, including sublingual options. Oral food challenges are not currently available at the clinic, and oral immunotherapy is not offered, though referral to Allergy London may be considered. Children’s Allergy Cambridge welcomes self-paying families and works with several major insurers.
