The Children's Dream Fund is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 with the sole mission of making dreams come true for children aged 3 to 21 who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses in West Central Florida. The organization receives dream referrals from doctors, nurses, Child Life and Social Workers, friends, families, and other patients. Each dream is as unique as the child it serves, ranging from meeting a celebrity or going on a special trip to receiving a much-desired gift like a computer or playground.

The most popular dream request is a week-long trip to the Give Kids the World Village, allowing children to explore all the incredible theme parks in the Orlando area. Boasting a remarkable track record, the Children's Dream Fund has fulfilled dreams for more than 4,000 children, with 87% of expenses directly contributing to making these dreams a reality. In-kind donations cover over 50% of dream costs, while all raised funds directly benefit children in the local community.

The Children's Dream Fund operates independently, without affiliation to any national organization, and strictly adheres to the Association of Fundraising Professional's Donor Bill of Rights. With an unwavering commitment to bringing hope and joy to every child, the organization continues to change lives one dream at a time
