## Description

Child Science is an innovative interdisciplinary field dedicated to addressing children's issues through an integrated approach that combines natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences. Originating from the collaborative efforts of experts in various disciplines, Child Science aims to promote healthier emotional and physical development in children worldwide by fostering dialogue among researchers and practitioners. Supported by Benesse Corporation, Child Research Net (CRN) was established in 1996, with the Japanese Society of Child Science following in 2003. Together, they serve as platforms for knowledge exchange, offering resources on topics such as childrearing, inclusive education, and the impact of digital media on children. The organizations host annual conferences and symposiums to disseminate research findings and discuss current challenges in child development. With over 100 universities engaged in child-centered studies, Child Science is poised to deepen understanding and create effective solutions for the complex issues facing today's youth, striving to make the twenty-first century truly the "Century of the Child."
