CHI is a non-profit exchange organization founded in 1980 with a mission to promote international understanding and goodwill through people-to-people exchanges. We believe that the best way to build bridges of friendship and trust among people is through direct experiences of each other's customs, languages, and values. Through our educational and cultural programs, we have changed the lives of thousands of people from over 130 countries.

For students and young adults, we offer a range of programs including Academic Year High School exchange, short-term Group Homestay, Au Pair childcare, Internship & Training, Work & Travel, and Camp Counselor experiences. We also organize high school study, language teaching adventures, and work programs abroad for American students. CHI is designated as a J-1 visa sponsor by the United States Department of State and is affiliated with prestigious organizations such as the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel and the International Au Pair Association.
