## Description

Choose Who You Use is a pioneering coalition dedicated to empowering electricity consumers in Maryland by advocating for true energy choice. Established to reform the electricity market, this organization aims to reinstate the freedom of consumers to select reliable, innovative, and transparent energy providers that align with their economic and environmental goals. Despite the presence of over one hundred licensed retail suppliers, the Maryland market is hindered by monopoly utilities serving the majority of residents, limiting options and hindering efficiency.

The coalition champions several key initiatives, including promoting cleaner energy solutions, enhancing transparency in energy usage and billing, and establishing consumer protections against aggressive sales tactics. Additionally, Choose Who You Use strives to uphold higher standards for energy suppliers and to improve the safety and reliability of Maryland's electrical infrastructure. By joining forces with this campaign, consumers are encouraged to voice their support and help transform Maryland’s energy landscape into one that prioritizes choice, empowerment, and sustainability for all residents.
